The ATR150XL is designed for use on the XL150S, XL150SC, XL125S and XL125RC. The lever-actuated system has one neutral and four resistance positions when used on the XL150S, XL150SC and XL125RC and on the XL125S it has 1 neutral and 3 resistance positions. The machined aluminum roller arms and lever make it very light and strong while nylon rollers and bushings reduce noise. Dual bearings ensure solid contact with the wheels and it works well in both wet and dry conditions. The lever actuated system is easy to engage for increased training resistance or for slowing the skis when negotiating moderately steep downhill’s. For steep terrain we recommend the use of a brake.
This inexpensive tool from Jenex is the best hand tool we have found for sharpening carbide tips. To roller ski on asphalt it is very important to have sharp carbide tips. It’s a good idea to quickly sharpen your tips before each outing as sharp tips make for a more pleasant experience and dull, worn down tips are harder to sharpen.

The outriggers improve the stability of the Aero Combi 150SC. The aero wheels provide a smooth ride while the outrigger provides stability. Only very skilled skiers can classic on the Aero 150SC without outriggers. Generally only one outrigger is required per ski, mounted on the outside of the ski. Two can be mounted to each ski for greater stability.
As the skill level increases, the outriggers can be rotated away from the ground so they provide stability only when the ski is substantially tipped. When the skill level has increased sufficiently, the outriggers can be removed.
